Tyana Skimmings

My name is Tyana and I am a Minyanbal women from Tweed Heads, NSW. I have been residing in Eagleby on and off now for the past 20 years. I am also the mother of 5 amazing children, ageing from 4-21 years old.

I have worked with children for the over 8 years and have been a Playworker in Joomunjie since January 2024. I love working in Joomunjie for many awesome reasons, but a priority for me is to help promote how important play time is for children, their mental development and mental health.

Helping to supervise a safe space for kids to learn and grow has been nothing but rewarding.
